As time passes landing technique is developed and hopefully improved. A greater understanding of the aircraft and its systems leads us to analyse the subtleties of each phase of flight, and in this video we're looking at the process of practising the hardest phase of flight - landing.

After arrival at the destination airport, we transition to an approach chart. These charts can seem quite daunting at first, but the basic principles are quite simple, once the organisation has been decoded. But the charts themselves won't land the plane. To do that we use ILS.
